I interned in the Software Division at SBI GITC, the Global IT Centre that serves as the central technology hub of the State Bank of India and runs much of the bank's online banking, digital infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
My work focused on AI and ML in enterprise systems, mainly automation and intelligent systems aimed at making routine banking operations faster and more reliable.
Working in an organisation of that scale meant building with reliability and security in mind. It was a useful look at how financial technology is designed, tested, and reviewed before it reaches the people who rely on it.
