Amaya spent a summer interning with CRY, Child Rights and You, one of India's best known nonprofits working for the rights and wellbeing of children.
His work was on the communication and fundraising side. He wrote articles, created posts meant to genuinely engage people rather than just inform them, helped produce a podcast, and took part in raising funds for the causes the organisation supports.
It was an early lesson in how stories move people to act, and in the practical work of turning attention into real support. He came away with sharper skills in content creation and fundraising, and a clearer sense of why that work matters.
