ColleNet

Academic Infrastructure Live at collenet.com

ColleNet is a live academic networking platform designed to make institutional connections structured, verifiable, and easy to navigate. The system is built around identity rather than activity, prioritising clarity over visibility.

Users register using their verified college or university email address. Once verified, they are automatically placed inside a directory generated from their institution’s email domain. Each institution has its own dedicated space, created without manual setup or administrative input.

Within an institutional directory, users can search for students, alumni, and researchers by name, academic year, field, or area of work. Profiles display only the information a user chooses to share, with contact details remaining private by default.

Other institutions are discoverable through open directories, allowing exploration of academic communities without exposing personal contact information. Communication tools operate within clear verification and visibility boundaries.

ColleNet is intentionally minimal. There are no feeds, posts, or algorithmic timelines. The platform is designed as infrastructure rather than a social network, supporting collaboration and discovery without distraction.

The project is live at collenet.com.
